How to Remove Unwanted Apps From Your iPhone

So you go over excited when you got that brand new iPhone of yours and started adding one app after another. There were so many out there tempting you that you just couldn't help from downloading everything that looked and sounded useful and fun. But now, you discover that you ended up download way more of these apps than you are ever going to use. But, now what? How do you get rid of all of the ones that you simply don't want any longer? Below are a few simple steps that will walk you through the process that will help you free up some space on your iPhone and make it easier for you to find and use the apps you do want to have on your phone.

First things first, make sure that your phone is on of course and then go to the home screen on your phone where all of your icons for your different apps are shown on your screen. If you already have moved around the screen and organized your icons as well as getting them deleted from the screen you already have a little basic knowledge of what to do, if not, it's not big deal, it only takes three easy steps to complete the entire deletion of the application.

Looking at the app icons on the home screen touch and hold just one of the apps until all of them start to look like they are wobbling on the screen. Notice that you can touch and drag them anywhere on your screen now, this even includes even down to your favorites area.

You will also notice that at the time the icons seem to be wobbling they will also have small x's in each of their upper left hand corners. These x's will only appear on the apps that you yourself downloaded. The apps that came with your phone will not have these on them. This is where the secret step is that a lot of people may not know about. Go a head and touch the x and you will then get a pop up box that will give this warning “Deleting (app name) will also delete all of it's data” and then you will be given two different choices, either delete or to cancel. So if you want a certain app deleted then click on “Delete” and that's it, you are done, all gone, the app is totally gone from your phone.

After you are done with deleting all of the apps that you no longer want on your phone you can then press your home button again that is at the center bottom and all of the little icons will have stopped wiggling around on your screen and all of their x's will have gone away for now.
